NX Courier drivers gear up for major education delivery
The courier division of The NX Group is to make one of its biggest deliveries to date.
We will be using 80% of our vans to transport state-of-the-art 75 inch monitors and screens, plus a Prosecco tap, to London for a show at exhibition centre ExCel over the course of one morning.
To make the process as efficient and cost-effective as possible, the delivery is being made on behalf of four separate companies, all of which are exhibiting at the world’s biggest education technology show, Bett 2019, from the 23rd to the 26th of January.
Russell Thompson, Operations Controller for NX Courier, said, “This job has taken a lot of planning, because we want to ensure it’s done correctly, safely and on time for our multiple clients. There’s a lot of things that need to be taken into consideration when transporting such a lot of hi-tech equipment in one go.”
Peter Connolly, IT and Project Manager for The NX Group, who is integrating new software with the company’s existing systems, said, “Large, complex jobs such as these require careful co-ordination, but thanks to the systems we have in place we can ensure that large scale jobs such as this can be carried off without a hitch.”
