We have recently secured a deal distributing for the UK division of a worldwide, Italy-based food and beverage company.
Toschi, a food products manufacturer established in Modena, Italy in 1945, distributes its range of syrups, glazes, toppings and balsamic vinegars worldwide. The company had previously been working with a Yorkshire-based distributor and had grown frustrated with the firm’s errors, poor distribution arrangements and slow responses. For Philip Rundlett, Managing Director of Toschi UK since its beginnings in November 2016, finding a logistics company with efficient systems and platforms close to the Midlands was key.
Since October 2018, we have taken deliveries for Toschi which contain a range of ice cream-based, gelato-based and alcoholic products. These goods are then distributed via our closed pallet network to small-to-medium restaurant chains, independent restaurants, coffee shops, gelato parlours and manufacturers across the UK. Prior to the goods reaching our secure warehouse, most are shipped to the UK from Italy, with some being imported from Belgium or produced in the UK.
