Contract wins and customer gains for Closed Pallet Network

Recent contract wins for our firm have seen new customers opting to use our closed pallet network for UK-wide distribution. With our expanding fleet and use of cutting-edge Transport Management Systems, we demonstrate the benefits of working with a closed pallet company rather than a traditional pallet network.

We operate a closed pallet network, meaning goods are delivered direct from our own warehouse to the end-customer or retailer on a 24- or 48-hour distribution service. Rather than goods being handled by multiple logistics firms before reaching the end-user, the closed pallet network provides additional traceability of orders via a dedicated and fully-branded fleet.

Our Managing Director Neil Powell said: “Our closed pallet network provides our customers with peace of mind and assurance that their goods are safe in our hands. We use the latest in Transport Management Systems and planning tools to ensure there is full traceability of goods. We also have our own staff of uniformed, DBS-checked drivers transporting goods nationwide, which further ensures the reliability and transparency of our services.”

We have recently won several contracts where customers have requested a solution which combines the delicate handling of goods with a bespoke service.

“Our loyal client base includes furniture manufacturers, paper manufactures and EU Hauliers who are bringing a range of goods into the UK,” Neil continued. “We have recently expanded our Operators Licence by 18 vehicles which will be implemented over the coming months, to increase capacity and further improve our service to clients.”

Howard Wilson, UK Warehouse Operations Manager at Northants-based IT connectivity products manufacturer StarTech, said: “Since The NX Group began providing delivery services for us eight years ago, they have proved very efficient and we can always depend on them to go the extra mile, even in response to last-minute next-day delivery requests. It’s very rare that a delivery arrives late, and when this has happened it’s been down to circumstances outside the firm’s control. Joanne Lawlor is our main contact at The NX Group; her attitude is brilliant, and the team as a whole are consummately professional and provide a spot-on service.”
