We are building on our six recent award nominations and responding to increasing customer demand by expanding our Operator’s Licence across our three facilities and investing in our staff and services.
Our company, which turned nine years old last month, has taken on eight new staff members following a recent recruitment drive: six permanent drivers, one Warehouse Shift Manager and one Administrator. This takes our staff to a total of over 85 full-time employees, marking significant expansion and steady growth year on year since our beginnings in 2010.
We have also celebrated growth in the form of recent contract wins, gaining customers within the beauty and cosmetics sector as well as EU Hauliers. One such customer is Toschi, an Italy-based food products manufacturer which opened its UK division in 2016. Having searched for a logistics company with efficient systems and platforms close to the Midlands, Toschi began working with us six months ago.
Alongside these positive developments, our company as a whole and our employees have also recently been shortlisted as finalists for a fantastic six awards. We are a Northamptonshire Logistics Awards 2019 finalist for SME of the Year and Growth Company of the Year, while our Senior Operations Manager Richard Mallard and CE Driver Lee Hemming are finalists for Achiever of the Year and HGV Driver of the Year respectively. Lee is also up for the LGV Driver of the Year Award, along with his colleague Enzo Cotugno, at the Talent in Logistics Awards on 27th June.
