Following on from Mental Health Week a number of our colleagues have been undertaking the Everymind Champion Course.
According to Everymind, the Champion course is a ‘1-hour long interactive online course that equips you with the tools to support yourself in the workplace, provide support to others alongside giving you practical suggestions to improve mental health within the business you work for’.
Rebecca Bateman, our HR Manager has completed the course and said: “This is an extremely useful course in helping us to normalise talking about mental health, especially in the workplace.
“In our industry with drivers spending prolonged periods on their own along with the current climate of people now working from home, loneliness is an extra factor many of us are having to deal with. Here at the NX Group we want to ensure our colleagues are equipped and don’t feel afraid to be able help and support each other. We need to do this together – we all have mental health that needs looking after!”
