New Northampton Hub Covers Prime Locations for UK Logistics

There have been a few changes within the NX Group in the last twelve months as we moved our head office and main operations site to Mustang Park in Daventry.

Still based in the East Midlands, our Northamptonshire distribution hub is a prime location for logistics in the UK.  Classed as the Golden Triangle of Logistics, the area has close proximity to the major road and rail networks. Many key retailers also operate from this location, with their main distribution centres located here.   

At the NX Group we operate a dedicated palletised distribution service, delivering across the UK on a 24-hours basis and pride ourselves on getting your goods delivered securely and safely.  Our closed pallet network means less touch points for your goods, and with our TSR1 & 2 secure fleet of vehicles and own team of uniformed drivers you can be assured your goods are in the safest possible hands.

We also continue to operate the highest levels of security with all of our new facilities working to TAPA standards. This includes:

• Internal and external monitored CCTV.
• Multiple intruder controls.
• 24-hour internal and external guarding.
• Secure perimeters.
• Access control throughout site.

Our new Daventry head office and main distribution hub is ideally suited for high value goods that require the utmost of security levels.  We run our cross docking operation from this site for our EU customers who work with us for their ‘Final Mile’ deliveries.  We also operate our ecommerce services from this warehouse facility.

Our second Daventry warehouse provides an additional 50,000+ sq. ft. of space within the Golden Triangle.  This facility is suitable for ambient stock, including stock with a high pallet turnover.  

We believe our new base and operating hubs will allow us to not only continue to provide our dedicated palletised distribution deliveries across the UK, but will also offer further scope for our distribution offering to our customers.

Many of our customers utilise more than one service from The NX Group often choosing to store their goods in our warehouse facilities, use our preferential parcel networks for standard or outsized goods via our e-com facility as well as taking advantage of our distribution and same day courier services.
